# Find your app version

See which version of Onform you have on iPhone, iPad, Android or the web, and how to update to the latest one.

Works on: iPhone, iPad, Android and web.

When you contact us, your Onform version helps us work out what's going on. It's also the quickest way to check you have the latest fixes.

## Find your version

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="iPhone and iPad" %}

1. On the Home screen, tap your profile icon.
2. Tap the question mark icon at the top.
3. The version is the first line of the menu, for example **Version 4.7.2** followed by a build number.

You can also see it in Onform's settings: tap the settings icon (the gear) next to the question mark and scroll down to **App Info**.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Android and web" %}

1. On the Home screen, tap your profile icon.
2. Tap the question mark icon at the top right.
3. The version is the first line of the menu, for example **Version 5.7.2** followed by a build number.
   {% endtab %}
   {% endtabs %}

The iPhone and iPad app and the Android and web app have different version numbers. That's normal: compare your version with others on the same kind of device.

## Update to the latest version

* **iPhone and iPad:** open the App Store, search for Onform and tap **Update**. If you see **Open** instead, you already have the latest version.
* **Android:** open Google Play, search for Onform and tap **Update**.
* **Web:** reload the page in your browser. You always get the latest version.

If you use Onform on more than one device, update it on all of them.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If the App Store or Google Play won't offer the update, you can delete Onform and install it again. First make sure none of your videos are waiting to upload, or they'll be lost. See [Why are my uploads stuck?](/help/troubleshooting/why-are-my-uploads-stuck.md)
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.onform.com/help/troubleshooting/how-to-find-your-app-version.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
