# What sports can I use Onform for?

Onform works for any sport you can film, from golf, baseball, softball, track and field and cricket to swimming, tennis and gymnastics. See which tools are sport-specific and how to set your sport.

Works on: iPhone, iPad, Android and web.

Any sport where you can film a movement and coach it. Coaches use Onform for golf, baseball, softball, track and field and cricket, and for swimming, tennis, gymnastics, volleyball, bowling, ice hockey, dance, weightlifting and many more.

## What works for every sport

Recording and importing, slow motion, drawing lines and angles, Compare, Voice-over, chat, sharing, Workspaces and Collections work the same whatever you coach. See [Analysis tools at a glance](/how-onform-works/analysis-tools.md).

## Set your sport

Your sport sets the words Onform uses, such as Golfer or Swimmer, and which sport-specific tools you see.

* **Your profile:** tap your profile icon on the Home screen, then **Edit Profile**. Choose your sport under **Primary Sport** (iPhone and iPad) or **Select Sport** (Android and web). See [Edit your profile](/set-up/how-to-edit-your-profile.md).
* **Teams and athletes:** each team and athlete workspace has its own sport, which you choose when you create it. If you coach more than one sport, set each team to its own sport.
* **Organizations:** an organization has a sport too, which decides what it calls its athletes.

**Sport not in the list?** On iPhone and iPad, type its name and tap **Select your sport as** followed by the name. On Android and web, pick the closest sport and email <support@onform.com> to ask us to add yours.

# Agent Instructions
This documentation is published with GitBook. GitBook is the documentation platform designed so that both humans and AI agents can read, navigate, and reason over technical content effectively. Learn more at gitbook.com.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.onform.com/how-onform-works/what-sports-can-use-the-onform-app.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
