# Cricket

How cricket coaches, academies and players use Onform for bowling actions and batting: slow motion, angles, radar pace, Compare, Voice-over and where to start.

Works on: iPhone, iPad, Android and web. Sport-Radar, Multi-Cam, the angle tool and the 2D skeleton are on iPhone and iPad only.

Film a bowler's action or a batter's stroke in the nets, stop on back-foot contact, front-foot contact or release, and send your player a Voice-over that shows exactly what's happening and what to work on before the next session.

## Who uses Onform in cricket

* **Private coaches** working one to one with batters and bowlers who are pushing for selection.
* **Academies and performance centres**, from general cricket centres to fast-bowling specialists, who want every coach working from the same technical model.
* **Pathway programmes** at county, state and national level, with many coaches, regions and age groups.
* **Professional squads** and their coaches and performance analysts, tracking each player's technique and bowling action through a busy season.
* **Players**, working with a coach or on their own, and **parents** of junior players.

## Cricket tools in Onform

| Tool | What it does | Read more |
| ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Slow motion and frame by frame** | Record at 120 or 240 fps and step one frame at a time to stop on back-foot contact, front-foot contact, release or the moment of contact with the bat. | [Analyze bowling and batting](/sports/cricket/cricket-hub/analyze-bowling-and-batting.md) |
| **Sport-Radar** | Connect a Pocket Radar Smart Coach or a Stalker radar. Each delivery records itself with its pace on the video, in miles or kilometres per hour. | [Use a Pocket Radar or Stalker radar](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/sports/hardware/radars-and-other-devices/how-to-setup-pocket-radar-with-onform.md) |
| **One-Tap** | Tap at release or contact and Onform keeps the seconds before and after, run-up included. | [Record video in Onform](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/get-started/how-onform-works/recording-modes.md) |
| **Multi-Cam** | Films the same delivery from up to four angles at once with extra iPhones or iPads, such as side-on and from behind the bowler's arm. | [Record from several angles with Multi-Cam](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/coaching/record-and-import/how-to-use-the-multi-cam-feature-to-record-multiple-camera-angles-simultaneously.md) |
| **Angle tool and line with angle** | Measure the front knee at front-foot contact, or show the angle of the shoulders or the trunk. | [Using the Angle Tool](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/coaching/analyze/using-the-angle-tool.md) |
| **2D skeleton** | Draws a skeleton over your player with joint angles that update as they move. Works best with one person in the video. On plans that include it. | [Analysis tools at a glance](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/get-started/how-onform-works/analysis-tools.md) |
| **Compare** | This week's action next to last month's, or a player next to a model video you've imported, side by side or overlaid. | [Compare two videos](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/coaching/analyze/how-to-compare-videos.md) |
| **Voice-over** | Talk your player through the delivery or stroke while you pause and draw. | [Record a Voice-over](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/coaching/analyze/how-to-record-a-voiceover.md) |
| **Tags** | Starter tags such as Batting, Fielding and Wicket Keeping. Add your own, such as Bowling, Pace or Spin, to find every session later. | [Stay organized with titles, tags and search](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/coaching/record-and-import/stay-organized-with-titles-tags-and-search.md) |

Onform doesn't track the ball, and Auto-Detect and 3D aren't available for cricket: Auto-Detect is for golf, baseball and softball, and 3D is golf only. Some tools depend on your plan. See [onform.com/pricing](https://onform.com/pricing/).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.onform.com/sports/cricket/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
