# Use PGA Coach with Onform

Use the PGA Coach app with Onform: record a PGA Coach student in Onform with one tap, send videos back to their PGA Coach chat, add your booking link, and see PGA Coach bookings in Onform's Calendar.

Works on: iPhone, iPad and Android. Recording from PGA Coach and sharing back to it need the Onform phone or tablet app, so they don't work in the web app. Unlinking your PGA Coach account is on iPhone and iPad.

PGA Coach is the PGA of America's app where students find you, message you and pay for lessons. Onform works alongside it, so you can:

* **Record a PGA Coach student in Onform with one tap.** Onform sets up a workspace for the student for you.
* **Send videos back** to your chat with that student in PGA Coach.
* **Add your booking link** so students can book their next lesson from Onform.
* **See your PGA Coach bookings** in Onform's Calendar, if you coach in an organization.

## Before you start

* Install both PGA Coach and Onform on the same phone or tablet, and sign in to both.
* Your Onform account links to one PGA Coach account at a time. It links the first time you record from PGA Coach.
* Your Onform and PGA Coach subscriptions are separate.

## Record a PGA Coach student

1. In Onform, use the account switcher to choose the account you want the student in: **Personal Account** or your organization.
2. In PGA Coach, open the student, tap **Record**, then choose **Open in Onform**.
3. Onform opens a workspace named after the student, straight into the camera. The first time, Onform creates the workspace for you. You don't need to add the student yourself.
4. Record as usual. Your videos save in that student's **Library**.

Next time you tap **Record** for the same student, Onform opens the same workspace.

If you coach in an organization where only admins create workspaces, you'll see **Ask an admin to add this athlete**. Ask an admin to set the student up, or record from your **Personal Account**.

## Send videos back to PGA Coach

The video needs to finish uploading first.

1. In the student's **Library**, touch and hold the video and tap **Share**.
2. On **Select Recipients**, tap the more button (a circle with three dots) at the top right.
3. Under **Share elsewhere**, tap **Share To PGA Coach**.

2. Tap the more button (a circle with three dots) at the top right.
3. Under **Share elsewhere**, tap **Share to PGA Coach**.

PGA Coach opens and the video goes into your chat with the student. You can share several videos at once the same way.

## Or coach the student in Onform

You can also invite the student to their workspace in Onform, so they see their videos and Voice-overs and chat with you there. See [Invite your athletes](https://github.com/Onform-Inc/onform-docs/tree/main/coaching/organize-your-athletes/invite-your-athletes.md).

Which to use is up to you. New students who find you through PGA Coach are often happy to keep chatting there. Students you see often may find Onform easier over time.

## Add your booking link

Add your PGA Coach booking page to Onform and your students get a **Book Lesson** button in their workspace. On iPhone and iPad, workspaces Onform creates from PGA Coach get your booking link automatically.

## See PGA Coach bookings in Calendar

If you coach in an organization and your plan includes Calendar Integration, you can see your PGA Coach lessons in Onform's **Calendar**, matched to each student's workspace.

1. Record one student from PGA Coach (see above), so your PGA Coach account is linked.
2. In Onform, switch to your organization, tap **Calendar**, and connect **PGA Coach**.

## Switch or unlink your PGA Coach account

* **Switch:** if you record from a different PGA Coach account, Onform shows **PGA Coach Account Mismatch**. Tap **Yes, Make The Switch** to link Onform to the new account instead.
* **Unlink (iPhone and iPad):** on the Home screen, tap your profile icon, then tap **Unlink PGA Coach Account** and **Yes, Unlink**. You won't be able to send videos to PGA Coach until you link again. Videos you already sent stay viewable in PGA Coach, as long as you don't delete them in Onform.

## Questions

**I already have this student in Onform. Can I link PGA Coach to their workspace?**

Not at the moment. Tapping **Record** in PGA Coach creates a new workspace for the student. If you'd like everything in one place, move the videos from the old workspace to the new one, and you can then delete the old one.

**Can I send videos from an existing Onform workspace to PGA Coach?**

No. Open the student from PGA Coach with **Record** first. Videos in that workspace can then go to PGA Coach.

## If something goes wrong

| No **Share To PGA Coach** option                                           | It's only there for students you opened from PGA Coach. Open the student from PGA Coach with **Record** first.               |
| **Install PGA Coach And Link Account** (Android)                           | This workspace isn't linked to a PGA Coach student. Open the student from PGA Coach with **Record** first.                   |
| **PGA Coach Account Mismatch**                                             | Onform is linked to a different PGA Coach account. Tap **Yes, Make The Switch** to use this one, or **Cancel**.              |
| **Ask an admin to add this athlete**                                       | Your organization only lets admins create workspaces. Ask an admin, or switch to your **Personal Account** and record again. |
